Glam Gallery: Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Foundation Review

Image
I already did a mini review of this foundation on Instagram a few months ago, but now it's been a little a while and I think it's time for an update. When I posted the first review the only cons I found were the lacking shade range and the packaging, but my opinion has definitely changed. So with that being said, I'll start with the cons. The formula feels really nice on the skin and it's just as long wearing as it says but, it cakes up. I'm not sure if this is just a personal problem with my body chemistry or the oils on my face but after about 9-10 hours (the foundation lasts for 12), the pretty skin-like finish goes away and it starts to sink into my lines and crease. My foundation always creases if I don't set it properly, but this formula made it so much more noticeable. I also noticed that the finish varies with tools you use, any foundation does. But to my disdain, a beauty blender, or any wet sponge, gives it a cakey application. I'm completely fi

Glam Gallery : Kasina Professional (review)

I've been talking about these lashes on my Instagram for a while now but, I've never done a full-length review. I am a Kasina affiliate but, that by no means influences my opinion on their products at all. My integrity and credibility as a blogger will always come before any brand deals, with that being said I'll just jump right into this review. The first thing I wanted to talk about is the prices. They're super affordable. Their premium strip lashes don't go any higher than three dollars, same goes for the individual lashes. That means you can stock up. They're very similar to Red Cherry or Christina lashes in presentation but, way better, in my opinion. They have a wider variety of styles, and also multipacks that range from nine to fifteen dollars depending on how many lashes are included in the pack. Multipacks of three are $8.97+ and multipacks of six are $14.92+. Most of the premium lashes give light volume, some of them are not for heavy glam, in my

Glam Gallery: Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition Palette Review

This palette really is beautiful, just like the original. The eyeshadows are really pretty, colorwise. I love the shade selection. The palette its self is aesthetically pleasing, with new white marble detail on the on the inside. The shimmer shadow quality is really good, especially the two duo chrome shades. They're pigmented enough to be true to color on any skin tone. The matte shades, however, are not. The colors are very pretty like I said before but the color payoff is a little bit lacking. The matte shades in the original palette where the exact same formula and I was hoping they'd change it for the new palette release. I am a woman of color so pigmentation is a make a or break for me with eye and lip products. They do look nice on the eyes but not as intense as I was hoping for. Not as intense as the shimmer shades at all. The highlighters are probably the best part of this collab. They too, similar to the shimmer shades are very intense. They are a little bit chun

Star Crushed Minerals (Review)

Image
I just received eight matte shadows from the brand Star Crushed Minerals ( not PR) and I'm super excited to get some colorful looks up for you guys :) I've only used the matte shadow formula so I can't give my opinion on any other products, with that being said I'll just jump into this review. They're very very pigmented, which I like because that's what I look for in matte eye shadows. You'll definitely need to use a light hand and transition color. Some of the matte shadows do vary in pigmentation, some are sheerer than others. (you may see this in the shade descriptions on the website, I'll list it below.) There are tons of shades and colors to choose from as well as finishes, but today I'm talking about the matte formula. They're super affordable, ranging from four to nine dollars in price. The price solely depends on which size you order, the size ranges from .5 grams to 2 grams. The smaller the size the cheaper. I don't think cont
